The world is overflowing with beauty, sometimes hidden in unlikely places. My joy comes from painting that beauty on canvas.

My winding journey in the arts began in my early 20s with jewelry sculpting, and from there to painting etchings, then on to the graphic arts/printing business. Watercolors drew me into painting, and oils captured me as I settled into my long love affair with painting. I am especially drawn toward the Impressionists of the late 19th and early 20th century as an avid lifelong student of the great artists of the past and present

I am drawn toward painting subjects that are bathed in strong light and color. My paintings are done mostly in oils and my works have been purchased for collections, both corporate and private all across the US and Canada.

The first half of my life was spent leading me to the second half, which has become more rewarding than I could have ever imagined due to answering the inner call to create. I encourage everyone to keep one ear turned inward. It will lead you to the place you belong and give you answers that could never come from without.
